- Bruce A Woodward – I’ve used Robert Bremer and US Asphalt twice. Originally 4 years ago and again this spring (2024). First time was a horseshoe shaped driveway with various approaches and I was concerned about water shed. Robert listened and made suggestions on which way to wedge the medium. It rained later that day and I was impressed, water went to where it was supposed to and I also found that he had created minute depressions to channel the water flow to the lawn drains. Four years later, I’m still happy with the installation. This spring, I had him do a straight driveway wide enough for two cars plus being able to open doors and walk the asphalt. The lawn had quite a dip in it. He brought in railroad stone to create a straight plane to the road, raising it almost 12” at the center of the 45 foot run. We had to bring in topsoil (another vendor) to bring yard to drive level. But it absolutely enhance the curb appeal of the home, raising its resale value more than the cost of the driveway and soil work. I recommend US Asphalt. I give 5 stars as service was quick, efficient, met expectations and was very competitive in pricing.
